Velvet is a woven cotton fabric with a short dense pile, giving it a distinctive feel and look. Velvet is mainly used for the Front of House Curtain and creates a rich luxurious appearance.

Velveteen-IFR - The Inherently Flame Retardant (IFR) Velveteen is a woven polyester fabric that is manufactured to imitate velvet. IFR Velveteen is commonly used for hire drapes, budget masking drapes, stage skirts and stage curtain linings. The IFR velveteen can also be used to manufacture stage costumes.

Molton (AKA Rokel or Duvetyne) is an opaque, crease resistant, brushed cotton fabric that is suitable for the manufacture of stage curtains, backdrops and many masking applications e.g. borders, legs, light reduction. The Molton is also popular for budget sound control drapes and hire drapes.

  • 3.0 metres wide

  • 300-330 gsm

  • Flame retardant to AS 1530 Parts 2 & 3 (NDFR*)

  • Black Molton and white Molton are stock colours.

  • Molton is also available in chromakey green and blue

Sharkstooth.jpg

Sharkstooth gauzes (scrims) are open weave cotton fabrics that when lit from the front (and the stage behind the gauze is totally dark), the gauze appears opaque and renders the scene behind the gauze invisible.

Filled cloth is a soft, crease resistant cotton fabric mainly used for cycloramas. Filled cloth is so called because it is literally gauze with the holes filled in.

Filled cloth is commonly used to manufacture cycloramas; however, it can also be used for front and rear projection screens.

Natural Nessel canvas is a 100% cotton woven fabric with a flat surface suitable for painted backdrops. The Nessel is available in a variety of widths making it easy to create seamless backdrops.

  • Available in various widths 3.2, 4.2, 5.0, 6.0 and 10.0 metres wide

  • 200 gsm

  • Not flame retardant

White Nessel canvas is bleached fire retardant canvas that suitable for manufacturing cycloramas and photographic backdrops.

Floor Canvas - Heavy-weight canvas is a 100% cotton woven fabric suitable for painted floor cloths. The weight (340 gsm) of the canvas provides a durable surface for walking or dancing.

Polyscreen Digital Green is a lightweight, crease resistant, lightly brushed polyester fabric that is suitable for manufacturing small to medium sized digital green screens. The 3.10 mt width also makes it ideal for amateur film makers.
